Beyond Identity began deployment of a new Secure Work software release on May 29, 2026.
What's New
| Feature | Feature Description |
|---|---|
| Devices (Device Fleet Inventory) |
A new Devices tab in the Secure Work Admin Console gives administrators a consolidated view of their device fleet. Administrators can browse and filter all enrolled devices (by platform, status, realm, and manufacturer) and drill into a device detail view showing operating system & security posture, passkey details, and lifecycle information. Please note: This feature is behind a feature-flag. To enable this on your tenant, reach out to support and it will be turned on during the next maintenance window. |
| Device Integration Reliability | Improved resilience of third-party device-posture integrations (such as CrowdStrike). The validity window for cached device data has been extended so that transient upstream API failures are less likely to cause unexpected policy denials while the integration recovers. |
| Policy Audit Event Details | Policy evaluation details — including matched rules and decision outcomes — are now included in v0 POLICY audit events, aligning v0 event data with v1 and providing additional context for policy activity reviews. |
Bug Fixes
| Bug Fix | Description |
|---|---|
| Self-Remediation Login Redirect | Resolved an issue in SAML redirect authentication flows where clicking "Log in" at the end of self-remediation redirected users to an unreachable page. Users are now correctly directed to complete authentication after extending their passkey to the current device. |
| Policy Evaluation Outcome Display | Resolved a display issue in the Secure Work Admin Console where the Policy Evaluation drawer incorrectly showed "Deny" in the Matched Rule outcome card despite a green Allow indicator. The policy outcome label now correctly reflects the actual evaluation result. |
| "Contact your IT for assistance" Text Styling | Resolved an issue where the "Contact your IT for assistance" text on the authentication screen displayed with incorrect link styling when no support contact is configured. The text now appears as plain, non-clickable text. |
| Identity Provider Access for Non-Super Admin Roles | Resolved an issue where Directory Administrator, Help Desk Plus, Help Desk, and Help Desk Limited roles received permission errors when accessing identity provider settings during device enrollment. Non-Super Admin roles can now list and view identity providers as expected. |
| IE11 Authentication Compatibility | Resolved a JavaScript error in the authentication screen that caused failures on Internet Explorer 11 and legacy WebView environments. Authentication now completes reliably in these environments for all tenants. |
